What we collect
- From contractors: company and contact details, license number, insurance certificate, job details, and photos.
- About homeowners: the name, email, and phone number a contractor gives us, and the homeowner’s survey answers.
- From visitors: messages sent through our contact form, and basic site analytics.
How we use it
- To screen, verify, and judge award entries.
- To contact homeowners once to verify a job.
- To publish winner pages, which show the company name, city, photos, and judge’s note.
- To reply to your messages.
What we never do
- We never publish a homeowner’s name, street address, or contact details.
- We never publish contract values, license documents, or insurance certificates.
- We never sell personal information or share homeowner contacts with contractors or advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep entries that don’t win for up to 2 years, then delete them. Winner pages stay published unless the winner asks us to remove them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Contact us and we’ll respond within 30 days.
